SERIAL ENTREPRENEUR, VETERAN, ATHLETE
Hi, I'm Neal Conlon—a serial entrepreneur, U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and Ironman athlete from the United States.
Today, I'm a recognized entrepreneur, corporate strategist, and coach to numerous business leaders.
But my journey wasn't always smooth...
At 18, I enlisted in the Marine Corps, seeking purpose and discipline. After serving, I ventured into the corporate world, facing challenges and setbacks that tested my resilience.
I launched my first business—FAILED.
Undeterred, I started another venture—faced obstacles but persevered.
Then, I immersed myself in consulting for several years, gaining invaluable insights.
Only years later did things begin to align...
At 36, I founded a successful company, but not without near-failures along the way.
Bootstrapping the business from scratch, we experienced growth but soon hit a plateau.
The business was wildly successful and closed $1M in sales in the first 60 days of business. We struggled to scale my mindshare and the operations were chaotic. We were navigating in the dark, trying various strategies without clear direction.
The reality was:
I was stuck, overwhelmed, working endless hours, and barely sleeping... with no mentor to provide the crucial advice every entrepreneur needs.
Daily, I pondered:
- I blamed the team
- There was a lack of goal
- There wasn't enough time in the day
- Why do I keep making the same mistakes
- Why do I keep circling?
- How do I reach my ideal clients?
- Who should be our next hire?
Have you ever grappled with these questions?
I ask because there's a plethora of misleading information out there. It can confuse and divert you from your true path.
The silver lining is, if you're an entrepreneur aiming to amplify sales and build a cohesive team, solutions exist.
Over time, with guidance from mentors, insightful books, and sound advice, I discovered them.
in 2019 - After raising $100M for a cybersecurity company - I took the 2020 Sabbatical.
During that year, I tasted freedom, I embraced loving myself and what I now call the entrepreneurial "dream life.
I had this aha moment where I wanted to share the journey I had been on with others and if I can avoid some of the bumps along the way for you... And Press Forward was born... I felt compelled to "pass the torch" by guiding others to achieve success more swiftly—avoiding the pitfalls I encountered.
This drive led to the creation of the Press Forward Project and my dedication to sharing insights through this website, social media, and speaking engagements.
